While meaning to study for Linguistics mid-sem, I turned on iTunes and well, couldn't resist having a shot at translating Baba's "I SHOULD" from his and Masa's Best Actors CD. It's roughly done and I'll appreciate any comments, since it's been a while since I've translated songs.

I was rewatching the backstages for Rikkaimyu (for the n-millionth time) and was struck by a sudden burst of inspiration ... at midnight. Thus the shortness and bad grammar.

Just a short drabblet on Baba, who was sprawled on the stage at the time ^_^

I got bored and translated some songs. They aren't the best and need some polishing, but here's "Jigoku Chou no Uta" and "Tsuki wo Oshietekure":
So, how was it? I wasn't originally planning to translate the dialogue in Tsuki yo, Oshietekure, but I ended up doing it anyway xD Comments are appreciated, as I make mistakes too!!

I'm working on it! I'm working on it! My electronic Japanese-English-Chinese Dictionary arrived today and I've been fiddling around with it. The only downside to it is that it doesn't have those pronounication voice-thingies built in that say the words for you. But otherwise it's the sexiest lil machine I've ever seen xDD
This time it's Hanatarou's solo Yamada Hanatarou Desu!. Again, named after the title the blog gave. It was a killer because it was so long (hah, wait til we get to Tsuki wo Oshiete kure!!!) and there was a lot of talking. I mean a lot. Anyway, you'll see what I mean!

More transliterations, cos I'm bored. Because it's been asked, I will answer the question here. I will start translating the songs after I romanise them, provided that other people haven't done so before me. If you are interested in using these romanisations for translations, just drop me a comment or credit at your post. All good?
This time it's Matsumoto's solo and Rukia's first solo, both very wonderful songs ^_^
I will batch-group these songs when I have finished romanising them, probably leaving it in a Word document, or creating a PDF file. Then I'll upload it for you all, for those who want to get all of them at once ^_^ |

I had time, so I transcripted lyrics from kanji to roomaji. It was fun, much easier than translating, and light brainwork so it's perfect for warming up my gears for pre-holiday-like brain functions. Because the holidays have eaten my brain.

This was originally requested bykiyuu. I'm sorry it took so long! After I finished the HSC, it was just one thing after another and now that I've started working, it's taken over my life and I haven't been able to sit down long enough to do this before. Um, yeah. So this is the translation of "Nemurenu Yoru" from Rock Musical BLEACH Saien.
Sorry for the delay~! I will try and get as much done as possible, even with work eating away at my time. I work every night now *nods* so I lose a lot of valuable fandom-time, but earn a lot of money!!!! xD |

It's the end of the HSC finally~! After about a month and a half's disappearance (except on my precious Kengo's birthday XD), I am back with a small set of translations from Burimyu Saien!! This is probably the easiest and shortest song in the whole musical ^_^
Done in about two minutes, not including typing up the kanji and roomaji.
