It's been a while since I last wrote, but here's a new ficage offering. I've decided to rewrite an old fic, I'm not sure if you guys on LJ have ever followed it, called "Harem", which began as a Yu-Gi-Oh fic but has since spread to encompass Prince of Tennis as well.

For those of you who did follow it, you may remember that I dropped it about three years back when I started university. Well, I have finally found some time to read over my old fics, especially "Harem", and since I'm on summer vacation for three and a half months and am also currently unemployed, I have decided to pick up "Harem" again.

It's a fresh start, so for those of you who did not read "Harem" back in the days, you will not need to read it as well. This new fic is almost completely different in storyline, there are some character changes and some shuffling around of roles. For more diversity, I have also incorporated characters from both Strawberry Panic and Prince of Tennis, though the characters from the latter will play a more prominent role further down the track. I have kept in mind past reviewers' comments about pairings and such and will try to play around with every one of them if possible.

So, without further ado, I will leave you all to read my newest production.

Hi all.

When I looked back over my LJ - and I mean really looked back over it - I realised that the topics I used to post so much about have now ceased to excite the same amount of interest in me.  That said, this change has also spread to other aspects of my LiveJournal, such as the layout and my profile.  A great many changes have occurred, many of which started two or three years ago, some of which are only recent still, and I felt it was only right to reflect these changes in something that has been close to my heart for these past seven years.

I'm not deleting this journal, don't worry.  As you can see, I've remade the layout of both the journal and the profile and have taken away more than half my interests.  I am in the midst of a friends-cut and am leaving many communities.  If you would like to stay on my friends list and read my RL posts, please let me know, I'd love for you to stay ^_^.  If not, I'm glad to have met you and wish you well for the future!

While meaning to study for Linguistics mid-sem, I turned on iTunes and well, couldn't resist having a shot at translating Baba's "I SHOULD" from his and Masa's Best Actors CD.  It's roughly done and I'll appreciate any comments, since it's been a while since I've translated songs.

I got bored and translated some songs.  They aren't the best and need some polishing, but here's "Jigoku Chou no Uta" and "Tsuki wo Oshietekure":






So, how was it?  I wasn't originally planning to translate the dialogue in Tsuki yo, Oshietekure, but I ended up doing it anyway xD Comments are appreciated, as I make mistakes too!!

I had time, so I transcripted lyrics from kanji to roomaji.  It was fun, much easier than translating, and light brainwork so it's perfect for warming up my gears for pre-holiday-like brain functions.  Because the holidays have eaten my brain.
